Shipping Calculations

Calculate rates can be calculated by any of the following methods

• Charge fixed Rates
• As percentage of Order Total
• Charge shipping based on Weight of the consignment
• Charge shipping based on Weight of the consignment at Pin Code level
• Specify shipping cost at individual Item level
• Set All Orders to have Free Shipping
• Add optional extra "Shipping & Handling" fee to all orders

Application Performance & Security

• Built on high performance asp.net architecture (pre-compiled code leads to better performance over code compiled at runtime)
• Data caching to reduce data base queries and increase performance
• SSL Encryption is Supported for secure ordering.

Search Engine Friendly Features

• Dynamic URL rewriting to convert url's with query strings (e.g. showproduct.aspx?categoryid=2) into static URLs (like p-28-refrigerators.aspx). Such static pages are search engine friendly and will help entire site being indexed by search engines
• Meta tags can be specified at product, category or article level and these are inserted into the dynamic pages at runtime so that you can target the right keywords for each generated page thus dramatically increasing chances of better ranking

Globalization

• Support for all Unicode languages including Indian Languages (Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Tamil, Telegu)
• Language change is dynamic at run-time
• Currency display, product prices, etc adjusted to specified locale
